At TapToLink, we take the integrity of our service domains (including genx.to, macros.bio, and others) extremely seriously. Our goal is to provide a trusted ecosystem for creators and their audiences. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any activity that violates our Terms of Service.

1. Select the Type of Abuse

To help us expedite your report, please identify the category of the violation:

  • Spam or Phishing: Pages designed to deceive users into providing credentials or links used for unsolicited bulk messaging.
  • Malicious Content: Links leading to malware, spyware, or browser-locking scripts.
  • Harassment or Hate Speech: Content that promotes violence or incites hatred against individuals or groups based on protected attributes.
  • Illegal Goods/Services: Promotion of illegal substances, weapons, or regulated goods in violation of local laws.
  • Intellectual Property Infringement: Unauthorized use of copyrighted material or trademarks.

2. How to Submit a Report

To ensure a swift investigation, please email trust@taptolink.app (or support@taptolink.app) with the following information:

  1. The Offending URL: Provide the exact TapToLink or service-domain link (e.g., genx.to/@username or mylink.one/abc1234).
  2. Evidence: Screenshots of the content or the destination site if the report concerns a short-link redirect.
  3. Your Relationship: Are you the person being harassed, the owner of the copyrighted material, or a concerned visitor?

3. Intellectual Property & DMCA Notices

If you are reporting a copyright violation, Federal Law requires that your notice includes the following to be considered valid:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on our Service.
  • Your contact information (Address, telephone number, and email).
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

4. Our Response Process

  1. Automated Receipt: You will receive a confirmation email with a case number immediately upon submission.
  2. Manual Review: Our trust and safety team reviews all reports within 24–48 hours.
  3. Action: If a violation is found, we may disable the link, suspend the account, or issue a permanent ban.
  4. Domain Health: Reports regarding phishing or malware are prioritized to ensure our domains remain trusted by Google, TikTok, and Meta.

5. False Reporting

Please note that submitting a false report is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in the suspension of your own account. For copyright claims, a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.
