TapToLink Terms of Service

Welcome to TapToLink (“TTL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website (taptolink.app), our service domains (including but not limited to genx.to, macros.bio, pups.bio, etc.), or any associated services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

TapToLink provides a multi-tenant SaaS application offering “Link-in-Bio” profiles, URL shortening, and “Bridge” micro-landing pages. The Service utilizes a serverless JAMstack architecture to provide high-performance routing across a curated ecosystem of generational and niche-based domains.

2. Account Registration & Verification

2.1 Account Requirements

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid, active email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2.2 Verified Status (Identity Validation)

To maintain the health and reputation of our service domains, certain features are restricted for unverified accounts:

  • Unverified Accounts: Limited to a “Quick Start” tier, which includes a maximum of 4 short links to prevent automated spam.
  • Verification Process: Users may gain “Verified” status by completing an identity check via Stripe. This involves a zero-charge card validation to ensure the account is managed by a real individual.
  • Verified Benefits: Once verified, the standard limits of your selected tier (Free or Pro) are fully unlocked.

3. Handles & Service Domains

3.1 License to Use Handles

Users do not own the service domains or the @handles they claim. TapToLink grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use a specific handle (e.g., genx.to/@username) on our service domains solely for the duration of your active account and compliance with these terms.

3.2 Reserved & Premium Handles

  • System Protection: TapToLink reserves the right to reclaim any handle that mimics official TTL support, system routes (e.g., admin, api, dashboard), or high-profile global brands to prevent phishing and impersonation.
  • Premium Handles: 2-character and 3-character @handles are considered premium assets and require a $1/month surcharge in addition to any subscription fees.
  • System Reservation: 1-character handles are strictly reserved for system operations.

4. Acceptable Use & Anti-Abuse Policy

4.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Service for:

  • Link Farming: Creating excessive accounts or links solely to manipulate search engine rankings.
  • Spam & Phishing: Distributing unsolicited bulk messages, malware, or deceptive links.
  • Illegal Content: Sharing content that violates local, state, or international laws.

4.2 Domain Reputation Protection

TapToLink reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate any link, page, or account that negatively impacts the “trust score” of our service domains with major search engines (Google) or social platforms (TikTok, Meta).

5. Subscriptions & Payments

5.1 Pricing Tiers

  • Free Tier: Subject to quantity limitations on handles, links, and specific service-domain access.
  • Pro Tier: $12/month (billed monthly) or $10/month (billed annually). Removes quantity limitations and allows for branded, unlimited short links.

5.2 Billing & Refunds

All payments are processed via Stripe. Fees are non-refundable, including in cases where an account is suspended for violating the Anti-Abuse Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 TapToLink Content

All software, code, designs, and service domains are the exclusive property of TapToLink.

6.2 User Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, bio text, destination URLs). By posting content, you grant TapToLink a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” TapToLink does not guarantee that service domains will always be available or that third-party platforms will continue to support links from our domains. In no event shall TapToLink’s liability exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to our domain reputation.
